Maresco Vermouth

Vermouth. This word makes your mouth warm and spicy. The Bacchus company’s family of drinks has also well-liked wine with the addition of aromatic herbs.
Today we will tell you that the legendary Surprise vermouth has changed its name, appearance and henceforth it will be called Maresco. There is something nautical and Italian…

We want to immediately reassure you — a beloved and recognizable taste of sweet vermouth from Bacchus has remained the same. But we decided to keep up with the times, as well as pay tribute to the traditions and history of this unusual drink. Therefore, the new bottle design contains Italian nautical motifs: sails against the background of a red sunset, a lot of white and blue, the tricolor of Italy, as a sign of respect for the country that gave the vermouth to the world. After all, the genealogy of the drink from wine and aromatic herbs originates in the port cities of Italy. That is why we have chosen a new name for our vermouths: Maresco, from the word Mare meaning «sea” in Italian.

As before, the line of Bacchus vermouths will have two drinks: Maresco Bianco, sweet white vermouth, and Maresco Rosso, sweet pink vermouth. These are wines with herbal ingredients — made according to the classical technology with the addition of natural extracts of valuable herbs. A pleasant combination of aromatic herbs spice, wormwood bitterness, and grape freshness.

We really hope that you will like the new design and the name of the familiar and long-loved drinks, into which we have put our whole heart and soul. Well, the taste will remain unchanged, because our recipes are another source of pride and your love.
