We are always happy to talk about the events in which our products participated. This fall, another two evenings in Almaty were painted in cognac colors and shades.
Fall turned out to be generous for interesting moments. On October 21, a blind tasting of cognac by the Bacchus company was held at the «Oh, Wine!” school. And on November 14, a similar event was already held in a less formal setting for our friends — journalists, bloggers and movie actors. But first things first.
On October 21, everything was very serious. 4 samples of cognac, among which were two classic cognacs of similar age — French and Armenian cognacs and two — «1948” and «Tengri” cognacs by Bacchus company were presented at the stand of a college consisting of 11 professionals and amateurs. Artyom Lebedev conducted the tasting session. This name is already a brand, but we recall that Artyom is the president of the Sommelier Association of Kazakhstan, the president of the Association of Wine Specialists of Kazakhstan and a professional sommelier certified by the International Association — A.S.I. Among the members of the tasting commission were our colleagues — Dinara Faizova (head of the laboratory of Bacchus JSC) and Zhunusova Aizhan, senior engineer of cognac production at Bacchus JSC.
Summing up the tasting session, the commission noted a very small scatter in the scores within the evaluation of the samples, which suggests that the Bacchus cognacs compete with recognized world brands.
Separately was noted that «1948” cognac has an amazing price-quality ratio and with its modernist design can easily win the hearts of consumers.
Also, the «1948” cognac received such reviews as «Juicy caramel aroma, good balance in taste”, «Fruit aroma. Soft, buttery with a pleasant aftertaste.” And «Tengri” cognac was marked as a drink with «Beautiful pine nut notes. Pleasant astringent flavor.”
Inspired by excellent marks from professionals, we decided to arrange another meeting, but not just a tasting session, but a thematic evening in the company of those of our friends who are interested in the culture of special strong drinks consumption. November 14th turned out to be a kind of men’s evening with good snacks, a relaxed atmosphere of a gentleman’s club, cigars and good conversation. The meeting was also held at the «Oh, Wine!” school. At this evening, the «1948” and «Tengri” cognacs were tasted. Specially prepared handmade cigars and chocolate with salt and pepper helped to reveal new notes of taste and aroma of noble drinks.
We sincerely hope that such formats of meetings and events will please our friends and become a good tradition.
