Spring Cognac Tasting

It is official: spring has come and it is so nice to start the spring season with a non-trivial party of tasting Bacchus cognac. Why it’s not trivial, because we decided to challenge the stereotypes about cognac as a men’s drink and invited ladies who love and appreciate this sunny strong drink for tasting. Moreover, International Women's Day is a wonderful occasion.

The professional master class on tasting assessment of the entire line of vintage Bacchus cognacs was held at the «Oh, Wine!” tasting school on the 5th of March. Artyom Lebedev, the sommelier of the A.S.I. international category and the head teacher of the school, was a tutor of the meeting.

5 types of cognacs, including two new products of the last year, were presented in the tasting program. The first sample is a special 1948 vintage brandy produced on the occasion of the year of incorporation of the Bacchus factory. The second sample was Tengri XO, the elite vintage cognac of 10 years old. Good feedback was received on these two samples. According to the assessment team, both drinks were worthy of high marks in all respects. Also, already familiar to consumers and well-liked Kakharman KVVK, Zhenis KV (matured cognac), and Batyr KVVK (matured cognac of the highest quality) cognacs were exhibited in the series of tastes. The intellectual quiz with prizes and gifts followed the tasting.

But for all that, the party sparkled above all with good meetings and sincere conversations, jokes, and laughter. Our guests are fantastic, remarkable and absolutely wonderful. We are grateful to them for their mood and professionalism in assessments and more.

We hope that we will have the opportunity to hold meetings of this format in the future. Therefore, wait for the news!
