The history of Bacchus vermouths begins in 1951. That is when the factory produced the first batch of a special type of wine with the addition of aromatic herbs. The vermouths produced were great — the wine and herbs of the Zailiisky Alatau foothills, literally infused with the sun, the best components for a good drink.
Not long ago, we told that Surprise, our legendary vermouth, changed its name and appearance, and now it is called Maresco. Read more
Aromatic, tart, herb-infused wines were added with another «fellow”, and now it's time to acquaint you with this specialty. This is Maresco Secco dry vermouth. A refreshing and aromatic dry drink is exactly the logical continuation of the Maresco family without which the line would be considered incomplete.
White neutral wines are used to make Maresco Secco, and the aromatization giving the character to the vermouth is made with a special mix of herbs, flowers and roots. The main soloists in this whirlwind of aromas are alpine wormwood, yarrow, black elderberry, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom.
The sugar content in Maresco Secco does not exceed 4%, and the alcohol content is 16%. Its taste is light and warm, like a mountain breeze on a summer evening. This vermouth is good on its own with ice and in cocktails, i.e. classic and new style ones. It is good to relax and meet the evening or have a fun party with friends with a glass of vermouth. Dry vermouth is especially liked for its freshness and loved by those for whom other formulas of the drink are too sweet. It's a real mountain summer in a glass.
Try it, too.
