Delicious master class

As early as December, the aroma of upcoming holidays is in the air. And this means that we can think not only about the New Year mood, but also about the festivity menu. We decided to think over everything in advance and began preparing for the holidays with a delicious bruschetta master class. Moreover, the dishes were original.

The master class took place in the Domum Vinum showroom at the Forum Almaty shopping center on November 30. The master class was hosted by Dmitry Lyapin, who is a co-founder of the «O Wine!” wine school and Managing Director of the Kazakhstan Sommelier Association. By the way, the bruschettas were prepared according to Dmitry’s recipe, and Bacchus wines were professionally and carefully selected for the appetizers.

White dry wine «Zhar-Zhar” was served with vegetable bruschettas. This wine has a delicate and elegant taste. Light, fresh, with a delicate floral aroma of the vine and spicy bitterness in the aftertaste. Two grape varieties «Kuldzhinsky» and «Riesling” are the wine basis. It plays out in fresh sparks with vegetable snacks and doesn’t interfere in the delicate vegetable taste.

Tongue bruschettas were accompanied by red dry wine «Zhar-Zhar”. It has distinctive shades of light and dark ruby, a light pleasant aroma and a rich harmonious taste. Saperavi variety blend. The wine fits perfectly with fried and stewed meat, meat snacks, greens.

And finally, the third position was salmon bruschettas. This delicate dish was successfully complemented by the sparkling young rose «Amarsi Rosati”. The wine taste and aroma are pleasantly refreshing, they open with notes of strawberries and rose petals. A very delicate combination of tastes and textures.

The event gave an opportunity to guests not only to enjoy the gastronomy and drinks, but also to participate in the dish preparation. Dmitry Lyapin and Bacchus Kazakhstan gave a small surprise at the end of the evening — they presented a special 6-year-old Vintage cognac «1948” released as a tribute to traditions and history in honor of the Bacchus factory founding year. Original chocolate with salt and pepper according to Dmitry’s recipe complemented the drink taste and aroma.

The event opened the winter in a very friendly way and, of course, started a series of holidays and parties. New Year is coming soon, which means we can think about the holiday table now. We hope we have helped you with the ideas of appetizers, and if you choose wine and strong drinks, visit us at Domum Vinum at the Forum Almaty shopping center, our shop-assistants will always help you. Festive greetings!
